Who We Are
Hello Sunshine Speech and Language Therapy helps to bring out the sunshine inside each child for everyone to see. Children with speech, language, or reading disorders may have their light dulled a bit because of the challenges they face. We see that and we work with you, your family, and other professionals to build your child’s skills AND confidence by tailoring our individualized treatment plans to what is most important to you and your family.
Why Speech & Language Therapy?
Some children’s speech and language skills don’t develop at the rate of their peers. This could either be because the child is just a late talker, or it could be a sign of a possible disorder. The only way to know is to get an evaluation by a knowledgeable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). If you have ANY concerns about your child’s development, please don't "wait and see" if your child grows out of it. Client Portal Access
The client portal is where we can communicate protected health information about your child in a secure manner. Here is where you will go to fill out intake forms, consent forms, upload documents, provide payment for services, and receive copies of documents like evaluations and invoices.
Literacy Programs
Did you know that children who have speech/language disorders are at risk for reading disorders? We have SLP’s who are trained to use programs to help prevent reading disorders for those at risk for dyslexia, and as a reading intervention to help improve reading skills. The programs offered include Lively Letters, and the Visualizing & Verbalizing Programs.
